The Famous

Archway Cafe

Nestled in the bush by Wharariki Beach car park. The café is open from the end of October to Easter 9am to 5 pm serving great coffee, cakes, muffins, sandwiches, ice-cream and cold drinks.

We have powered & unpowered sites for campervans/motorhomes and caravans - flat, well drained pitches for camping with tents, tourist cabins for up to 4 people and lodge accommodation for backpackers, we also have a large Group Site min 6 people, up to 10.

Or you can just do very little…it is up to you.

There are easy walks of 20 minutes to longer half day walks along Wharariki Beach to Farewell Spit.
